our 2 free tartine-supplied turkeys brining in the drawers of our fridge

my pumpkin pie, and lindsay's walnut-maple pie on my lap in the car

cute lindsay smiling, so happy to be in our slow car!

dan was a great driver. the thanksgiving traffic put us at ease as we crossed the epic g.g. bridge
in the beautiful junker volvo on the way to the marin headlands art center...

the famous wood-fired oven in the headlands kitchen. this is where megan bakes bread 3x a week. the vegetables were cooked in here once the wood mostly burned away.

jon the chef is in blue. megan my roomate! in the middle. she is the chef's major helper. the rest of us are flunkies... peeling garlic, doing dishes, seeding pomegranites, trimming herbs...

working on the food... deviled eggs, brussel sprouts, beets, etc
looking in through the window to the kitchen

the carved turkey and food ready to go out...

megan, megans brother, lindsay, dan-- eating the most delicious feast!!

the big dinner table --about 28 people! me and about 8 friends and then mostly international artists in residence...
